Jan’s latest Version

I thought long and hard about what should appear on the first page of “JansVersion.com”.  I could suggest the purpose, give an abstract, tease the visitors or just flat-out start convincing you to buy .... “stuff” (sp?), it is not my intention to alter or affect you in any way but one.  I want to show you my fascination with small things and my obsession with the profound consequences they have on everyone’s life.

“Learn to see things that do not matter and then do not notice them.”

This is as good rule as any other and I’m neither in the position to judge or question anyone’s preferences for other ones.

The shape, size or extent of this website has not been determined and even though I have started it with a plan (or rather an idea) I’m still considering what from my personal experience I want to allow everyone access to.

As this is the “Welcome” page, I feel somewhat obliged to provided some introduction and so:

---- “Devil is in the details” can be found in the Blog section,

---- About me... will most likely show you the demons I sleep with,

---- If I have to explain the Contact tab, ... that is just sad...,

and as for the rest... well one will have to comeback and check because as of now I am at a loss myself...

Let me show you what I see...

On top clockwise a peacock from my trip to a LI farm, flags from Smith-Point Beach, my neighbor’s flowers, and one of the circular stairwells in Javits Lecture Center at Stony Brook Univ. Campus
