It is the weekend and I feel broken and damaged.  Yesterday I defiantly went overboard and behaved stupid. I need to be a bit more careful I am not getting any younger.

So WiFi… damn… I’m the sick guy with a Mac sitting on a bench, lame beans.

So my “new” acquaintance is not coming to town today but she still insists we know each other.  She is a graduating student, and apparently in this scenario I am a very well connected attorney that sends pictures of shoes… might be interesting to actually meet her in person, although I am pretty sure I succeeded in convincing her I am not the guy she thinks I am… the things that keep happening to me.

I just don’t have dull days.  Funny thought for the guys:  Once you get pass the “Need to fuck to prove existence” phase you come ahead, as the women around you will be getting less flashy and unless they settle down much more insecure… just sit back and pick and choose!

Another modem has been introduced at a computer marketplace and later two more were found at a media store…

Choices are:

ICon 505M for about 310zł
Huawei E156 for about 200zł
and two Nokia’s CS12 and CS17 for 350zł each.

Now this starts looking as a choice to bad I don’t know anything about neither, and I can’t find any reviews.

Found free WiFi at a mall, courtesy of McD… I think I’m just going to get a modem so I can start whining about the quality of the connection and terrible customer service rather than the lack of access to interwebs and lack of general information about it.

Feeling better… Mobile internet? Informations about GSM modems still non existent…. shame, it would be so nice to have some clear comparison and slightly bigger market for it.  Unfortunately most get mobile internet from their company and never dare to ask questions? or buy it in bundles from the providers… LAME, will keep on searching.  Female cops are very visible and their presents is admirable (insert joke  about women in uniform with handcuffs handy…).

Weather got nicer/warmer.  Still feeling under the weather.

Got another email from a girl i think i might know, but this one has me wondering if it is maybe a miss match name thing.  She is coming to town and she is in possession of my mobile number, might be interesting.  According to my horoscope for today I should watch and guard my deep dark secrets more carefully, as well as not be quick about telling close friends anything I might regret later…

It is friday and I’m getting really tired of not having any reliable internet connection (only usable suggestion is an icon 505M modem… and I have nothing to compare it to… it is a huge shame that this info isn’t more accessible. )  Internet should be free and public domain, doesn’t have to be super fast it just has to be accessible to all.

I need to find a new hotspot either that or actually do the WEP password breaking on a neighbors network (problem: I don’t have any good programs to help me out, like I used to have on my dell).

I think, I went overboard with the I’m free and healthy… because I feel like crap! hopefully this won’t last to long!

Got another idea for a project… I might have to start sharing so I don’t forget!

Guess WHAT? I’m still sick… pissed off… I hate being sick. It means I have to be stuck in one place and I get so bored, not even funny how bored I get, I don’t mind coughing, sweating, feeling icky… I mind being bored.

I was sick on Wednesday…. give me a break… blowing my nose and sweating and being generally uncomfortable is not very interesting.  Picking up learning german from a program I have on my Mac.

I’m feeling funky… Free Wi-Fi at the Old Town, got to fix this situation… It is getting colder and very much drafty… high schoolers everywhere, those were they days.

I like how the older sections of Warsaw look like, there is some charisma about how those uneven, not so straight streets chase each other between buildings.  Good news the cross is still there and we can still make fun of it.

I adore my dentist, there is absolutely no bullshit there and I trust her explicitly with my health.  I remember when she was starting with one office and full schedule… remember how she grew and apparently now she has two offices and at least one assistant (that doesn’t care for showing up in a timely manner).

I got home and I’m officially broken… somewhat sick or something… something is seriously off.

Monday, I have couple ideas for projects… I sure could use some intelligent people to help out… School starts in about three weeks so I bound to meet some people with enough of a spine to help me out.

I spend my morning surfing the web by the Zygmund Column in front of the Palace right at the edge of the Old Town… This free WiFi doesn’t belong to a decent one but is free and playing 4.50 an hour is to much long term.

Cute thing… the cross is still in front of the presidential palace (residence). Short story… sudo-patriotic/sudo religious hysteria created of a group of “I have nothing better to do” people arguing that the place of a religious symbol there.  From what I hear there was some serious fighting going on, so now what I am looking at is riot-barricades which makes the whole thing LOOK EVEN DUMBER.

I’m in search of mobile internet, I have a vague idea what I want from a provider and there is plenty to choose from but the actual GSM (HSPS) Modem info eludes me.

Yay got to work and help with the aftermath of moving, setting up shelves, cleaning all the jazz… This time I got home after 11pm, this was long day… my aunt got two new pets, common mice, dumb (kept running into things) but problematic.

Now that I think about it, I doubt I am ready to own a house… as much as I think I just might be ready to pretend to head, under the shadow governance of my wife, a family, a house looks a little scarier.

I’m tired this was a long day.

Got to mail “I’m alive” message out… checked facebook, looked for hotspots and software updates.  I need to get schools’ internet access

Got to hang out although, it is late I’m going try to get most of the petition ready…

Most? Haha didn’t get any of it done, maybe tomorrow I’m so tired.  Little back pain and so many things on my head…

Things will get better… otherwise they Will get a lot more funny!

For I’m just going to stroll between errants with my huge headphones and pretend like I really, really don’t CARE!

Sounds like tomorrow evening is more work to be done at the move! Yay… do I have time?

Yep more boxes… oh and furniture and plants… vans full of them, got 99% of things out of this place.  It was interesting, makes you think about whats important.

Which reminds me I still want to rent a place in Warsaw to live in.  Close to school and cheap-ish are the main requirements.

Those plants are so much fun… falling asleep while pretending to blog. Tomorrow day of?

After I got back from running errants yesterday, I got back, eat and fell asleep on the spot.  They still seem to like me at this school although, it doesn’t look like I will be starting school as a student… he he he nothing new here.

Today I get to shop for a bank and maybe get a mobile internet for my laptop it is annoying not being able post blog, check mail…

Some bankers seem surprised by the question “what can you offer me, when it comes to personal accounts?”, I get sales pitches rather than answers the two places I got an actual answer might be the two places I stick with…

I thinking that a Jan’s Version on “US in Poland study survival guide” might be a interesting project.  Will have to think about that.

The rest of the day I helped move some family, mostly boxes of books and journals… there was a lot of it.  I’m feeling tired… Looks like tomorrow the fun will continue.

… Did I sleep?  I’m sure I snored… maybe not?  No one bothered me… oh I got the tittle of the best costumer and a little stuffed animal, all for saying thank you… are most people such a pricks… oh well it was good food.

Breakfast!  Oh?!  Yogurt and a sandwich… good sandwich.

This security check was brutal!  They told me to take out all electronics out of my bag and put them in a seperate tray… I end up with 4 trays:

1. Laptop
2. Jacket, sweatshirt
3. Half-empty backpack
4. Nikon, Canon, Nokia, Lacie, Ipod, 6 power cords, 2 card readers and a power-bar…

The guy looking over my shoulder when I was putting it all back into my bag wasn’t exactly satisfied with the scan.  After a short “I’m a photographer and I did pack light…” he finally bailed.

Ups I almost missed the next flight… it is not a big airport but the security check sure took a while.

Flight wasn’t bad got to sit next to a human-rights worker conferencing in Poland about eastern-neighbors… I don’t understand it but she seemed to like it…

So much for the two hour flight, I must have dosed off…

I travel to much getting to Poland just doesn’t make an impression on me anymore… I once described getting of  8-12 hour flight as an emotion similar to changing rooms in my house.

My bag came out fast.  Lodged in, it’s out 11am and one hour after landing I’m out to deal with paperwork, so much to do…
