Building a house and moving in is SOOOO much work. Both time and resources… huge amounts. The more I think about it the more it scares me. To my future wife… please either come with a huge, done and empty house or don’t demand one before we have 5 grown up kids to do the heavy lifting for us!
This makes me thing about the owning things part of life… Stuff does help! It is neat to have a bed to sleep in and silverware to eat the food you bought… a computer to type blog entries in etc. Is there a breaking point were to much stuff starts getting seriously in the way? Moment were the stuff gets a life of its own and start making demands things and becomes like that mother-in-law who doesn’t hear very well, doesn’t know much and yet has a forceful opinion about everything. Hope I won’t meet her daughter.
